Between 1996 and 1998, American Greetings released three sheets of Strawberry Shortcake stickers. Two of them showed the vintage Strawberry Shortcake from the 1980's. The other, however was a mix between the 1980's style and a brand new style; which grew into the Strawberry Shortcake dolls of the 2000's.
These are the two "vintage style" Strawberry Shortcake sticker sheets made by American Greetings in 1996.
This vintage style sticker book was made in 1999 and is part of my collection. This small sticker book included stickers of Strawberry, Cherry and Apricot in Strawberryland. Strawberry in a "Farm Fun" scene, Dress your own Stawberry Shortcake paperdoll. a coloring page with Strawberry holding custard and pupcake on the side, a berry sticker tick-tac-toe game, A Skating Party scene with stickers of Strawberry, Plum (boy, Angel and Cherry, and Apple and stickers of Stawberry desserts to make your own treat.
These stickers and matching gift wrap sheets and gift wrap roll were also released in 1998. You can see that they are a combination between the vintage Strawberry Shortcake and the new 2000 version of the doll.
