Anyone who collects Strawberry Shortcake dolls knows that the shoes are one of the most confusing parts of collecting.  Well double that confusion for collecting 1991's because they throw you for a loop.....there is more than one style!  What you say?  Yes it is true.  My friend could buy a 1991 Lime doll NRFB and have different style shoes (but same color) than the doll I just bought NRFB.   So here I am to try to make your 1991 collecting a little bit easier.  

For those of you who are most familiar with the 1980's line's shoes here is a run down of the styles 1991 shoes came in:

• Blueberry Muffin (four holes)
• Raspberry Tart (criss cross)
• Lime Chiffon (bow)
• Angel Cake (nothing)
• Crepe Suzette  (one strap)

The shoes came in a variety of colors.  The 1991's shoes were made of a harder plastic than the 1980's shoes.  All 1991 shoes have a hole at the bottom and there is no difference between right and left foot.

For this shoe id, I will be speaking of two sets of shoes:  the one that came with ON the doll and one that came WITH the doll (on the little paper doll).  

Strawberry Shortcake Berry Best Party
These are the Berry Best Party Strawberry Shortcake shoes that came on the doll.  They are Lime Chiffon style and are light pink. They can be difficult to find.	These are the Berry Best Party Strawberry Shortcake shoes that came with the doll (for the original style outfit).  They are the Blueberry Muffin style  and are dark brown.	The berry Best Party doll in the Party dress wears "Berrykin" style striped socks with lace on them.  She also wear matching underwear.

Strawberry Shortcake Berry Beach Park		Variation
These are the Berry Beach Park shoes that came on the doll.  They are a bright red and are in the Blueberry Muffin style. These shoes are similar to the Berry Wear Berry Patch shoes.	These are the shoes that came with the doll.  They are Raspberry Tart style and are light pink.  They are similar to the 1980's Raspberry Tart doll's shoes and are frequently  confused.	This is the variation shoe, which is the same Raspberry Tart  design, but are red instead of pink.	The Berry Beach Park outfit that came on the doll is wearing white socks.

Strawberry Shortcake Berry Sweet Sleepover
These are slippers that go with the Berry Sweet Sleepover doll.They have small strawberries on them.	These are the socks that go with the Berry Sweet Sleepover berry nightgown.  They aren't slippers, but instead are silky pink socks.  They are frequently confused with Cherry Cuddler's socks (but Cherry's don't fit Strawberry correctly)
Strawberry Shortcake Berry Beauty Shop		Variation
The Berry Beauty Shop shoes(that came on the doll)seen here are in the white Angel Cake style.  There is  variation also seen which is the white shoe in the Crepe Suzzette style.	These Berry Beauty Shop shoes go to the paperdoll with  berries on her dress.  The ones pictured here are Crepe Suzette style and dark brown.	The variation shoes are the same brown color as the shoes pictured on the left, but look like the Angel Cake shoes.	The Berry Beauty Shop outfit that come on the doll is wearing these light pink socks.  Notice that they are light pink, and not white.
Orange Blossom
The Orange Blossom shoes that came on the doll  are orange and in the style of Crepe Suzzette.	The Orange Blossom shoes that go on the paperdoll are a dark orange in the Lime style. The are  similar to the Orange Blossom Party Pleaser shoes, only a different color.
Raspberry Tart
The Raspberry Tart shoes that came on the doll are pink and in the Crepe Suzette style. They are often confused with Party Pleaser Crepe Suzette's shoes.	The Raspberry Tart shoes that came with the doll are purple and in the style of Angel Cake.  The are often confused with Angel's shoes.
Lime Chiffon		Variation
The Lime Chiffon shoes pictured here are the ones that came with the doll.  They are pink and in Blueberry Muffin Style.   style.	The Lime Chiffon shoes that came with the doll pictured here are Blueberry Muffin style and  purple.	Variations to the Lime shoes are pink Raspberry Tart style and purple Raspberry Tart style.

Blueberry Muffin
These Blueberry Muffin shoe are the ones that came on the doll they are blue and in the style of Raspberry Tart.  They have purple bows glued onto them	These Blueberry Muffin shoes came with the doll are blue and look very similar to the 1980's Blueberry Muffin shoes.	These light green and white striped socks are worn by Blueberry Muffin with her shoes that have the bows.

Lemon Meringue
The Lemon shoes that came on the doll are light yellow and in the style of  Lime Chiffon.	The lemon shoes that came with the doll are a dark yellow and are the style of Angel Cake.
