Occasionally on ebay and other places online, the
strangest set appears. In the package are 1992 coloring books and
dolls. However, the dolls are NOT Strawberry Shortcake dolls. They
are wearing Strawberry Shortcake clothing. I have seen Almond Tea,
Lemon Meringue and Raspberry Tart outfits. The dolls themselves are
made of CHEAP plastic and they break apart easily. The dolls in the
SSC clothing are sealed in little baggies that read

We do not know if they were put together in a factory or by an individual. If you have any information, that would be great. I took one picture of mine before I opened them up for the coloring books.
